Dropbox is a companion app for iOS to Dropbox free web services and desktops software. If you already have set up Dropbox in your Mac, this app allows you to sync, share and download files and folders from your computer using iPhone and iPad.

Dropbox mobile app basically gives another interface to access your Dropbox folder into a local folder that you have set in your Mac. Whatever you put in the folder, you can see it on your iPhone or iPad. The interface gives you tools to see files (surprisingly fast and without lost any quality even with MP3 and video file), open file in other application (especially useful for iPad which has another productivity app), or share file (via link email, or by copy it to clipboard). You can also “favorite” a file to save into your device so you can see it later while you offline (because Dropbox folder can as big as 100GB, the app can’t automatically download all files). Dropbox can see various types of files, from pictures and ordinary text format to Microsoft Office files and Keynote presentation.

Dropbox Mobile app doesn’t do all for you-for instance- it would be better if it has ability to add and edit file on the app-and the performance not always reliable for transfer big files. But, still Dropbox is an easy and free way to access files and share them to your Mac, and if you are already using Dropbox in your Mac, this app should be downloaded.
